Image of the Day – Just Dance!

Day 4 of the celebration of the very special models I work with and today the showcase is on Caitlin Litzinger.  I met Caitlin in June last year at a Southern California Photographers Association meet up- the theme was Dark & Sexy and I still don’t know how Rayma got her hair as high as it was.  The main thing I noticed about Caitlin that day was the way she commanded a room when she walked in, besides the fact that she was drop dead gorgeous.  Since that day we have had many shoots together, many adventures and each & every one is just so much fun.  From shooting her Burlesque troup, The Dirty Little Secrets Burlesque at the Whiskey A Go Go to my propping pillows under her tush at a meet up- this was truly one of the highlights of 2014.  Caitlin was with me and Afreeman Photography for the first shoot of 2015- what a great day yesterday.  And this image is from the shoot- the term “Just Dance” reminds me, life if short- make each day your own even if you are the only one “dancing”- Caitlin, love you girl-

Image of the Day- Needs some Work!

Ever read in the paper when searching for a home or a car and it says- “gently loved” or the best one is “needs some work”!  That is what I thought when we got to the high desert and started unloading for our Abandoned Home shoot. The structure on the homes are still in really good shape, but the funniest part of all of them was that the outhouses were in better shape than the homes were.   Hope you enjoy your “Black Friday” and get some great deals out there!!

Image of the Day- Black Widow

From the 29 Palms series, Alaina Rose Lee was all in black looking like the perfect “Black Widow”- even her eyes were black!  Doing this series in black & white, you are able to get a rougher feel of the surroundings and it brings them more to life.  On this Thanksgiving morning I am able to reflect on the past year and even though Ron & I only have one of our children & grandchild here in San Diego- we are very blessed.  I have also met so many new friends on the photography side and they have filled my life with so much joy.  We have had so many adventures over the past few months and now planning 2015, it is just going to explode on the photography side.  Thank you all so much for being part of my life, my love and my growth!  Kitty Von Rose, Caitlin Litzinger, Valentina On the Rocks Model, Alaina Rose Lee, Breann Lynn, Sizzling SweetPea, Eva Mae Garnet Burly-q, Francine D Photography, Afreeman Photography, Simply Me Boston, Bobbie Lynn Fernandez, Whendii, Envy Sage, Raquel Ravish, Sher Keli Andal, Diem Beauty, Ms Elvira Lopez …man 2014 has been off the chart!

Image of the Day – Beauty among the Ruins

Shot at 29 Palms in the high desert- there is an area where the homes have been abandoned and it truly makes for some interesting images. Caitlin was in my grandmothers coat, my boots, looking very glam with destruction all around her. My husband said this should be an album cover or promotion shot. What do you think?
