New fun Conceptual with Valerie Valentine- When she came to the studio and her hair was just free & natural along with us asking her to just wear no makeup other than lipstick- She reminded me of one of the posters I saw as a child during the Vietnam War times. This one is called “Peace”- a fun, whimsical little artwork as a flash back.
When I go to these themed shoots- my favorites are always the ones where the models have designed their own costumes. Yesterday I got to see the final product of the Pyscho Bettie Classic’s “Corpse Bride” costume. I gave her my wedding dress from 1999 and she transformed it to a very beautiful and unique work of art. With the crazy talented MUA Steffeny Bonilla and the modeling skills of Alaina Rose Lee- this image came to life.

All week we have been getting things ready for the Gatos Car Show, so we have been pretty non-existent on Facebook and everywhere- hope all had a good week!
For today- a peek at some work I did with Alaina Rose Lee on late Sunday- I used a new software program I am trying out- quite a bit a antique finish- blurring, etc- but I like it.

I do love the look of Pinup & Rockabilly and for this Monday morning’s image I thought the one I took this past weekend of JoJo doing the iconic Marilyn pose would be a cool one for you all.
She is a member of the LA Chapter of The Luscious Ladies and you will be seeing much more of these wonderful ladies in the coming year.

Alaina Rose Lee has many looks and over the past year of shooting with her, I have watched her grow in so many ways. She has become like a daughter to me and just seeing her beautiful smile can totally light up a room.
In this image that was caught while another photographer was setting up the bath to shoot with her, it appears she is in deep thought- maybe about the entire day of shooting- or even that she is freezing her ass off in that milk! Whatever the case- I just love this girl.

Today’s milk bath image was the themed color of red- the model’s name is “Sizzling Sweet Pea” which is appropriate for the color. MUA is Bobbie Pins Beauty and the wig was one of mine from the year I was a goddess for Halloween.

t’s Monday, and yes we are full in to May now. Amazes me how the days pass so much quickly the older you get. Mother’s Day was simply beautiful and finished it up with a fabulous dinner made by my husband.
This image is another of the beautiful Alaina Rose Lee as the sign of Leo from the Zodiac. The shoot was one from the meet up group North County Photographers & Models group and we met at Kit Carson Park to be one with the elements. We didn’t have “fire” but considering the models- we were far from it!
