On day 2 of 2015 the showcase is on Miss Kitty Von Rose! My first time working with Kitty was in late July of 2014 and she stepped up to one of my top picks immediately. There was something about Kitty in not only her style but also the sparkle in her eyes, the beauty that bubbles out as she talks & gets excited and honestly just her overall personality. She is another that I consider a daughter and one of my hubby’s favorites as well. The profile picture used for MKS Images Facebook page is of Kitty and our first shoot and still one of my very favorite of all times. The image from today was taken at the Antique Gas & Steam Museum on a day that we met Afreeman Photography & Breann Lynn and made a day of it. I love the edge she is showing in this pose and the steam engine in the background. Enjoy!
Yesterday was spent with the Southern California Photographers Associationgroup up in Anaheim at Wonderland Studios. The theme this time was “model’s choice” and when it was posted about 2 months ago, Caitlin had already posted that she was going to be Marie Antoinette. I signed up for this shoot just for that reason- I had to see how she was going to be in wardrobe as that historic strong and somewhat crazy woman. Traffic was horrible and a 1 hour drive took 2 hours to get there- but, it was worth it. Not only was Caitlin stunning as Marie, but Margot was breath taking as our Day of the Dead model and the vampires, well- that was just plain fun. For today’s image, we are showcasing another member of The Dirty Little Secrets Burlesque– the beautiful Harlow Rose. I love the wardrobe she has on because the corset has beautiful roses all around the shoulders. This is another image from the calendar shoot where I was a bonus photographer along with Stephen Fitzsimons and we had a lot of fun that day. We did a Dark Beauty shoot at Wonderland Studios last weekend and this is one of the images with the beautiful Kitty Von Rose– The dark side MU was performed by Laura Locks Beauty and the sexy hair by Simply Me Boston– you can’t really see the knock out wardrobe, but it was provided byWonderland Corsets– The shadows on this image really show up around the eyes, which was not what I intended, but Kitty & I have a couple of this particular type of shoots coming up in the next month where we will go out of studio and in to remote areas around Southern California- stay tuned and have a fabulous Saturday!!
