For today’s image, I decided to go to the sexy side and post one of the Natural Light images taken of Whendii during one of my trips to Los Angeles. This was in my hotel room and taken with my 50mm lens with just the light from the alley coming in. I loved that she brought red with her, as it really stands out in the low light.
I will be setting up sessions to do quite a bit more of this type of shoot for the coming year. Interested? Let me know.

Yesterday we had a fun masquerade shoot with Sizzling SweetPea, Breann Lynn and fellow photographers Afreeman Photography, Jay Boivin & Heather Robertson. Near the end of the shoot- I took this one of Breann- I call it Hungry Princess because she was just that. It was a lot of fun and I got some fun images. This image of Breann Lynn was taken for a series for Vintage Boudoir Magazine‘s 50’s issue. Breann was my Rita Hayworth and she killed it. We did a full on 50’s shoot in November specifically for Vintage Boudoir Magazine where specific models were chosen to embody the 50’s icon chosen by MKS. In this case, Oh Lovely Miss T was chosen to be my Marilyn Monroe- working with her is always a joy and now as the Chapter Leader of The Luscious Ladies for the Los Angeles area- I am quite sure you will be seeing a LOT of her and the wonderful things this association of pin up models do. Today’s showcase is Eva Mae Garnet Burly-q– a gorgeous beauty that is not only a beauty as a model, but is one hell of a burlesque dancer- she is the co-manager of Drop Dead Dames Burlesque Revue here in Southern California- so check them and her out some time. Eva Mae & I have been published together 12 times in the past year since meeting in late July. It honestly probably could have been more, but I did not do any submissions the last 3 months of the year for the most part as I was focusing on my skill more than submissions. This shot was taken in our last session together of the year- it is purely natural light being used and is in my kitchen. I can’t wait to see what 2015 has in store for our work together! Day 3 of 2015 and today the showcase is on Alaina Rose Lee, my little spitfire. She can go from sweet, innocent little girl to Bettie Page in a matter of seconds. In this shot she actually was my Bettie Page for a 50’s shoot done back in November. After the handcuffs, whips and dominatrix chair was all done, she wanted to come & play on the bed. She too has become a daughter to me and love my times with this beautiful soul. Enjoy!
Happy New Year from MKS Images! For the first few days of January I will be showcasing the models that I have worked with in 2014 that have become so very special to me and my journey. For our first image of 2015 we are celebrating our beautiful girl Breann Lynn! She was one of the first models for MKS and has been with me all along the way- the resolution for MKS this year is to focus more on my craft and as Afreeman Photography says, take myself out of the average and into the limelight. I do love this particular image, but it could have been so much more and as this year progresses I am determined that this will no longer be the case. Thank you to all that made 2014 so special for me and my business-

Like the rest of the house, this room gets great sunlight and lots of air for those stuffy days.
